Industrial Automatic Shallow Sand Filter for Water Treatment

Introduction

It is composed of one or more standard high-speed sand tank units, equipped with a unique internal water distributor and water collector, as well as a dedicated automatic flushing valve. It can realize independent backwashing of each standard high-speed sand tank one by one during normal system operation, with full automatic program control. It has the advantages of low backwashing water consumption, convenient equipment installation and easy operation. The equipment has a large processing flow rate and requires no daily maintenance. According to different user requirements, it is available in vertical and horizontal series, which are suitable for water treatment needs in multiple fields.

Working Principle

In the filtration state, raw water enters the filter tank, and is evenly distributed to the filter medium layer through the internal water distributor. Suspended solids, particles, water scale, bacteria, algae, rust and other impurities in the water are intercepted by the filter medium, and the purified water is collected by the water collector and flows out steadily.

As impurities accumulate, the system automatically triggers the backwashing program. The automatic flushing valve switches the working state of a single sand tank, and uses the filtered clean water to backwash the filter medium in the tank. The filter medium is fully dispersed to wash away the intercepted impurities, while other sand tanks still maintain normal filtration operation, realizing uninterrupted water supply of the whole system. After backwashing, the tank automatically returns to the filtration state, and the system performs backwashing for each tank in turn.
