Automatic Backwash Water Filter-LEFILTERWATER

Introduction

The fully automatic backwash filter is mainly composed of a cylinder, stainless steel filter screen, electric sewage valve and sewage discharge device. During operation, the backwash butterfly valve plate opens, and water enters the filter element from the inlet, flows through the filter screen and exits the system, with impurities trapped inside the filter element. When sewage discharge is needed, the butterfly valve plate closes, the sewage valve opens, and water flows into the inner side from the outer half of the filter screen. Part of the water flows back into the system from the outlet, while the remaining water flows into the inner side from the outer half of the filter screen and is discharged through the sewage outlet, achieving reverse automatic flushing of the filter screen.

Working Principle

Under normal conditions, the diverter valve opens, water flows through the filter screen and is discharged from the outlet. When the sewage valve opens, the total flow of filtered liquid increases, and the flow velocity rises, flushing impurities adhering to the filter pipe wall and discharging them through the sewage outlet. When the diverter valve closes and the sewage valve opens, water is forced to enter the outer side of the filter cylinder through the inlet mesh holes. Most of the water flows out from the outlet, while part of it enters the filter cylinder interior through the impurity collection mesh holes on the outer side of the filter, creating a backwash effect on the filter cylinder to remove impurities stuck on the outer mesh holes, which are also discharged through the sewage outlet.
