Working Principle
Filtration State
During normal filtration operation, the backwash butterfly valve plate is open. Water flows into the filter element from the inlet, passes through the filter screen for purification, and then flows out of the system from the outlet. Impurities in the water are intercepted and trapped inside the filter element, completing efficient solid-liquid separation.
Automatic Backwashing State
When the filter needs blowdown, the system automatically closes the butterfly valve plate and opens the blowdown valve. Water flows from the outer side to the inner side of the second half of the filter screen, and is filtered through the first half section. Part of the purified water flows into the system from the outlet, and the remaining water flows reversely through the filter screen and is discharged through the blowdown valve. This process realizes automatic reverse flushing of the filter screen, quickly and thoroughly removes impurities attached to the screen, and the whole system maintains continuous water supply during the whole backwashing process without shutdown.
